On searching the Ancestry Co site there is an entry for Thomas Cuthbert died aged 0 in March qtr Glanford Brigg, also in June qtr a Nancy Cuthbert died aged 34.again Glanford Brigg, so it is very possible that these were the wife and child of William.
I cannot find a marriage for them, but it is possible that Nancy was not the name she was christened with. From her age at death we know that she was born about 1837. This is when registration was started, so she could just have missed this if she was born 1836.
