As a young woman she had a unique religious experience alone in a grove of virgin forest near Newbern and threeafter won most of her family to the Christian life and became one of the founders of Methodism in the Newbern and Dublin area." Elizabeth married Michael JORDAN, son of Thomas JORDAN and Unknown, in 1818 in Montgomery Co., VA. (Michael JORDAN was born about 1795 and died before 1864.) |
