Elvira Cabell [3450.4.2.2.2.2] (10 Sep 1783 — 22 Oct 1858) married first Patrick Henry Jr. (15 Aug 1783 — 22 Sep 1804), the eldest son of the prominent politician and his second wife, Dorthea Dandridge. Their wedding ceremony was 9 February 1804 and the groom died September 22 of the same year. Elvira remained a widow at “Union Hill” until April 1819 when she married James Bruce of “Woodburn” in Halifax County. James had previously been married to Sally Coles, daughter of Col. Walter Coles. Widowed a second time in 1837, Elvira built a home on Clay Street in Richmond, Virginia, where she lived the remainder of her life.
Elvira married Patrick HENRY, Jr., son of Patrick HENRY and Dorthea DANDRIDGE, on 9 Feb 1804. (Patrick HENRY, Jr. was born on 15 Aug 1783 and died on 22 Sep 1804.)
